Short Term Construction Help (2 months)

We are looking to hire someone for a short term construction project, roughly 2 months of work. We are looking for someone reliable who doesn't have a problem getting their hands dirty and doing some physical labor for 8-10 hours a day.

This is a personal project, so we are looking to have a positive and respectful work environment, and hopefully have some fun along the way.

What you will be doing:

Framing out a basement

Installing electric outlets and connecting to breaker box

Installing plumbing, tubs, sinks, wall tile for bathrooms

Exterior and interior painting (with provided professional paint sprayer)

Window installation

Help moving heavy items like appliances or furniture for staging

Pluses:

Ability to install egress windows

Roofing experience

Requirements:

Ability to reliably get to and from site on your own at scheduled times

Ability to do strenuous work for 8-10 hours a day with reasonable breaks.

Integrity and good communication skills (if you don’t know something or messed something up, it’s okay to ask for help. Not communicating those things promptly is a bigger issue than mistakes)

Attention to detail and pride in work

Ability to self manage once instructions are provided (we don’t want to micro manage once we get to know your skills)

Pay: $20-30 DOE

Must provide referrals

No hard drug use / use of any drugs during work

No criminal background
