Greenhouse + Small Farm Manager, Maintenance Manager, Seasonal Process

$22-28/hr DOE

Available after 6 months:

Employee health insurance including vision and dental - Employer pays 70%

401k Matching up to 4% of pay

5 days paid vacation

Job Description:

35-40 hrs most weeks

Up to 50 hours some weeks with overtime pay

6 days per week - Usually only about 2 hours on the weekend day.

Some flexibility of timing of hours when you have personal things come up during normal hours.

Shows up 6 days a week, every week. Poor attendance will NOT be tolerated.

This position requires Intelligence, Dedication, and lots of heavy physical work at certain times of year.

Communication Skills: must communicate and understand clearly, not hesitating to ask for clarification.

This is a small business where you would have many different roles to juggle, which means a LOT to learn and know. Mental acuity, attention to detail, and sharp memory are imperative! The wonderful part is the variety of the work.

Organizing + Cleanup

Tractor/Equipment Operation

Field labor/supervision: transplanting, weeding, harvesting, trimming

Farm: Running water/Irrigating/Fertigating/Foliar Sprays

Grounds upkeep: mowing/weed whacking

Seasonal indoor processing equipment operation

Following specific SOPs

Documentation

Supervising crews: efficiency + quality control

Maintenance + mechanical work indoors and outdoors
