Shipping, Receiving & Warehouse

Summary: This position is responsible for all shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization/inventory for a small cosmetic manufacturing in the East Bay

This is a physical job. Must be able to lift heavy pails, move 200-400 pound drums of materials, and wrap & move full pallets of product.

Requirements:

A minimum of high school diploma

Minimum of 3 years yrs warehouse management and inventory control preferred

Must be able to do math, understand metric system, and be able to use a computer

Able to lift heavy pails and move 200-400 lb drums of material

Ability to comprehend detailed instructions and have good attention to details

Must be willing to drive a Forklift (training can be provided)

Previous Experience in a GMP Manufacturing Faciility preferred

Must be flexible, able to multi-task, willing to take on new tasks and work well in teams and with other departments

Must be able to communicate with clients and other people

Responsibilities:

Coordinate shipping and receiving of all materials and associated paperwork

Monitor raw materials and packaging inventory

Maintain orderly warehouse and dock areas

Maintain Hazardous Waste inventory

Back up packaging Technician

Other duties as assigned

Saftey Officer: Monitor and train personnel in general safety issues. Track saftey incidences
