We are seeking a person familiar with or having an interest in learning laboratory procedures, chemistry, and analytical techniques-operations. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for helping develop and perform various tests and experiments to support ongoing R&D activities. While at first performing basic procedures in a supportive and educational environment, the position will have the natural potential to grow into greater collaborative and independent projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Learn and conduct a range of chemical processes and analyses in an educational R&D environment.

2. Analyze and interpret results, discuss findings with interdisciplinary teams.

3. Given sufficient experience, collaborate with coworkers in support of new processes and clients.

4. Take the time to examine ongoing learnings in greater depth under the willing guidance and direction of experienced scientists and engineers.

Requirements:

1. Laboratory experience including medical technician experience or 2-year degree in chemistry or a related field.

2. Detail-oriented with an interest in recording, analyzing, and reporting experimental data.

3. Desire to learn how to work both independently and in a team environment.

4. Written and verbal communication skills.

5. A willingness to learn and the flexibility to adapt to changing project needs.
