Accounting Manager

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Manager based in KANSAS CITY, Missouri, United States. This position is within the telecom sector and provides the opportunity to handle day-to-day review activities related to accounts payable and payroll tasks. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable and payroll teams Review and analyze financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports Implement and ensure compliance with company's accounting policies and procedures Conduct regular ledger and payroll audits Provide guidance and direction to the accounts payable and payroll teams Handle day-to-day review activities and take on more direct manager responsibilities Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial analysis and reporting Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial statements. Requirements Proven experience in managing accounting functions Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes Extensive knowledge of Account Reconciliation procedures Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience in managing payroll processes Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to work collaboratively with a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy High level of integrity and trustworthiness Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
