You'll place a deep focus on user insight to help you keenly understand user experience problems and opportunities. That understanding enables you to craft compelling solutions that are intuitive, thoughtful, simple, and delightful. You will guide the vision and strategic direction to create experiences that help our customers discover, plan, and book travel.What You'll Do: Work with product managers, business partners, engineers, marketing and customers to develop and improve Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) products and services for our customers worldwide, every single day.You will:
- Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into useful products for millions of travelers
- Lead UX for a complex product across multiple teams and regions within the company
- Design simple, compelling flows
- Partner with product managers, engineers and researchers to oversee people's experience of a product from conception through launch
- Make strategic, data-based decisions with the rest of the product team
- Design enterprise quality components, foundational utilities, and highly functional proofs-of-concept
- Leverage and contribute to design systems that optimize for flexibility, re-use, usability, performance, brand distinction, and visual appeal
- 7+ years of professional design experience
- A fantastic portfolio with multiple published/customer-facing projects demonstrating best-in-class customer engagement
- An excellent communicator and presenter
- Understanding of complex and large enterprise businesses
- Bachelor's degree in human-computer interaction (HCI), design, related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated experience using data to inform design decisions
- Experience with user research and A/B testing
- Experience with web standards and design methodologies
- Great teammate with a positive attitude and sense of humor
- Experience working in an agile environment
