Job Description:
Join our team at Floors to Your Home as a Wholesale Flooring Sales Associate! We are seeking a motivated individual who excels in customer service and has a passion for home improvement. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in assisting customers with their flooring needs, providing advice, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. Store hours are 9:30-6 pm Mon-Sat. All employees are required to work Saturday with having Wednesdays off during the week.
Responsibilities:
Customer Assistance: Engage with customers to understand their flooring requirements and guide them through our expansive wholesale inventory. Offer personalized recommendations based on their preferences, budget, and home decor.
Measurements and Quotes: Conduct on-site measurements of customers' houses to accurately assess flooring requirements. Generate detailed quotes that include product costs, installation fees, and any additional services.
Product Selection: Assist customers in selecting the right flooring products by showcasing various options, explaining features and benefits, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with customers by providing attentive service, following up on inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the purchasing process.
Maintain Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest trends, technology, and innovations in the flooring industry to effectively advise customers and enhance their shopping experience.
Requirements:
-Previous experience in sales, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
-Proficiency in conducting measurements and generating accurate quotes.
-Knowledge of different flooring materials, installation methods, and maintenance requirements.
-Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
-Working Saturdays
