Retail Associate in the River Arts District

Heartsleeve is a graphic design and screen printing studio based out of New Orleans. We print shirts, cards, and limited edition prints by hand, and each design gives back to a Cause. We are opening a collaborative shop called Kind Hearted Goods in the River Arts District in Asheville, which will feature art by local makers, eco home goods and gifts.

We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Retail Associate to work part-time starting in June.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to customers

- Assist customers with inquiries & purchases

- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our Square POS system

- Maintain a clean and organized store environment

- Perform opening and closing shop duties

Qualifications:

- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required

- Interest in local art and/or environmentally conscious design

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong customer service orientation

- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude
