Fine Wine Store Seeks Stock and Sales Team Member

We are a premier fine wine merchant located in the heart

of Tribeca, in New York City. We are passionate about wine and dedicated to

creating a memorable experience for our customers.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Team

Member to join our dynamic team. This position is perfect for someone who is

passionate about wine and eager to learn. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in

assisting customers, managing inventory, supporting our sales team, and handling

general floor work.

Responsibilities

- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional

manner, providing information and recommendations on wine selections based

on their preferences.

- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in achieving sales targets by engaging

with customers, processing transactions, and handling inquiries when available.

- Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate inventory records, organize

stock, and ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.

- Stocking and Deliveries: Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries, including

lifting and organizing wine cases (up to 40 pounds).

- General Floor Work: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and welcoming for

customers; assist with merchandising and display setups.

- Learning and Development: Participate in ongoing training and education to

expand your knowledge of wines, regions, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

- Passion for Wine: A genuine interest in and enthusiasm for wine and a strong

desire to learn. Wine expertise is not needed - we are happy to train smart candidates who are interested in learning about wine.

- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a

customer-centric attitude.

- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced

environment

- Education: College or culinary degree preferred
