Relief Enterprise Inc. is a non-profit cleaning service that specializes in providing job opportunities for individuals with physical, emotional and intellectual challenges.

Relief Enterprise is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Office Assistant to help out our HR Team. This position is to be able to assist in recruiting new candidates by going out to different consumers to get employees that have a disability hired.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

 Provides general human resources assistance to employees (in making sure they fill out New Hire employment forms correctly and all forms are signed.

 Emailing or mailing all new hire packages to Human Resources along with all medical documents.

 Responsible for assisting with Timesheets and making sure all working employees are Clocking In and Out correctly and signing off on Timesheet at end of week.

 Responsible for emailing all Timesheets to Payroll.

 Responsible for mailing all Expense Reports along with receipts to Accounts Payable.

 Must be able to travel for at least twice a week to meet new consumers for company to recruit.

 Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

 Must have at least one (1) years of administrative support, customer service, project coordination, or related experience.

 Must have experience with business office machines and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.

 Must have excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.

 Must be able to communicate with senior management and to handle confidential information in a professional and competent manner.

 Must be able to lift and carry 10 - 20 lbs of copy paper, computer equipment, or other office materials and supplies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 Knowledge of general office administration and administrative support practices

 Skill in using standard office equipment

 Skill in providing quality customer service

 Skill in using professional telephone etiquette

 Skill in effective verbal and written communication

 Skill in using MS Word, Excel and Outlook

 Ability to prepare reports in a timely manner with frequent interruptions and multi-task effectively

 Ability to maintain confidentiality

 Ability to work as a member of a team

 Ability to assist with the daily operations of the regional office as needed.

 Ability to communicate effectively

Working Condition:

 Non-smoking environment in buildings and vehicles.

 Operates in a professional office environment. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 Occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
