We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Shoreline Inn! We’re a family-owned and operated 30-unit hotel on the beach in Cayucos. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be assisting in managing front desk operations and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
FRONT DESK DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the General Manager with daily operations
Oversee front desk operations, ensuring smooth workflows
Provide general supervision, including training and engaging front desk staff
Conduct annual performance reviews for front desk staff
Maintain office equipment and supplies
Contribute ideas to increase occupancy and profitability by promoting hotel services and amenities
Set an example of commitment and professionalism for team members
Interact and cooperate with all staff members to maintain high service standards
Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction and handle guest complaints and inquiries effectively
Be flexible with work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
FRONT DESK SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the hotel industry
Proven customer service skills with a strong guest-focused mentality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong management, communication, and multitasking abilities
Ability to coach and develop team members
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently
Basic IT skills preferred: word processing, data entry, familiarity with hotel management systems
