Organic Farm Production worker

We are a 22 acre certified organic market farm specializing in fresh vegetables, seed garlic and fermented foods. We have an on-site natural foods store, production kitchen and online sales website.

Production worker candidates will primarily work on maintaining annual succession crop plantings, following cultivation equipment with hand hoes. Additionally, will participate in annual garlic harvest and cleaning, and perennials maintenance. Work may be done solo and as part of a team at various times.

The ability to work full days in the field in varied conditions is required. As such, candidate must be in good physical condition, able to lift 50 lbs., and use hand tools safely and effectively. Prior experience with hand-hoes and field maintenance is required. Most importantly, candidate must be detail-oriented, able to stay on task, take direction and learn our systems, and work productively and effectively as part of a team.

In addition to hourly wage, all employees receive Oregon PTO/sick leave, a 15% discount in our store and a store credit each payday. This position is primarily for the months of June-September, with both part-time and full-time applicants considered. We are also open to a Saturday-only team.
