NJ-NY Bankruptcy Paralegal

This position requires a minimum of 10 years of NJ & NY Bankruptcy Paralegal experience with Best Case or must be willing to learn Best Case on your own time before hire. You will report to the Executive Office Manager/Senior Paralegal.

This position will require patience with clients, documentation of all contact with clients and a sharp eye for detail. May be asked to take on other work during lower periods of Bankruptcy work. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus but not necessary, will also consider Bi-lingual in Arabic languages.

This position will be part-time, 3 days per week to start with the opportunity to go full-time when the need arises.

Dress code is relaxed business casual, except if a major client is anticipated when business professional will be necessary.

Work hours will usually be from 10 to 4, 3 days per week to start.

You must be professional and when talking to a prospective client, be empathic and understanding, but also know how to screen out a "tire-kicker". You must be a self-starter and ask questions when you do not know the answer. Assumptions have no place in this firm.

The position will start on Monday June 10, 2024.
