Grade Foreman

Wood Brothers Trucking and Construction is seeking an experienced Grade Foreman. Foreman will be working on commercial construction projects including subdivisions, commercial developments, foundation excavation, parking lot and road builds. Job Requirements

-Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience as a foreman or at least crew lead.

-Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and survey staking.

-Must be able to operate grader, dozer, excavator and loader to prepare gravels for asphalt and concrete in parking lots, roadways and building pads. Must be able to operate grader and finish grade for asphalt and concrete.

-Clean driving record for company vehicles

-Self driven with the ability to work unsupervised safely

-Experience with TopCon, Trimble, or Leica GPS systems preferred

-CDL preferred but not necessary for the position

-Communicates with superintendent, state, city and county inspectors

Responsible for

- Operation of equipment

- Day to day on site operations

- Safe operation multiple pieces of equipment (Grader, Dozer, Excavator Etc.)

-Supervise a crew of 2-3 people

-Keep company trucks and equipment cleaned, greased and schedule repairs with mechanics

-Safely locate and excavate around underground utilities

-Keeping job sites clean and progressing forward on time and budget
