Personal Care Assistant - Weekends Plus

Immediate need for a Personal Care Assistant to care for a 40-year-old disabled woman in the Northampton area. She needs help to remain independent in her home. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, medication management, help with personal care, and companionship. She's in a wheelchair and can usually stand and pivot, but you have to have some strength to assist her if she has trouble. We have coverage from 6 am until 9/10 pm 7 days a week. At this time we need someone to cover 6 am - 2 pm on the weekends and to help with fill ins. Additional hours may also be available. We have three wonderful women and we need one more, and we are willing to be as flexible as possible regarding hours, but we need weekend help. Once we find the right fit, we'll make the hours work. The working environment is pleasant and comfortable, but it's not on a bus route so you need a reliable vehicle.

Preference is for an experienced woman, but if you have the heart you can learn the job. If you're interested, please respond telling me about yourself and your experience. Payment is through Tempus with additional cash offered and if things work out, additional compensation will definitely be available.
