Works closely within commercial development and strategy team to assist in strategy formulation, industry research, deal evaluation, financial modeling, and negotiation on internal and external initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

Conducts detailed industry and company specific research in support of the assessment of strategic organic growth opportunities as well as potential acquisitions, mergers, or divestments.

Performs economic evaluation and rigorous financial modeling/analysis to identify value creation opportunities that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Performs and assists with due diligence efforts, including data room mining, management, communication, and administration. Strictly maintains appropriate level of confidentiality.

Participates in cross-functional projects encompassing development of business case, development of options around the scope of the project and, at the appropriate time, handoff for execution by the function.

Consistently delivers information to Latin American Business Development representatives and responds to detailed questions.

Studies, analyzes, and reports on local economic and business environment, as well as market/competitor trends to proactively identify business threats and opportunities.

Supports efforts on individual projects within the strategic finance team and performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, and economics or related discipline required.

Minimum 7 years of experience in downstream operations, corporate finance, logistics accounting, or other related area required.

Minimum 3 years of experience in business, planning and analysis and/or proven analytical skills and modeling.

Fluent in English and Spanish required. Portuguese or other languages preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of financial modeling in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to build effective presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint and usage of MS Office Suite of products.
