Test Automation Engineer wanted by Anywhere Real Estate Operations, LLC, Madison, NJ.Responsibilities:

Design and deliver flexible, scalable, and resilient software solutions. This includes leveraging industry best practices and known design patterns to build prototypes to prove functionality before ultimately coding cloud-native, configuration-driven, software solutions that are capable of handling rapid load increases and gracefully recovering from unexpected events;

Analyze, design, and prove viability of solutions utilizing spike stories to delivery documented POCs with demonstrable results;

Refine business requirements along with Product Team by collaborating and negotiating the expectations and outcomes associated to a given request;

Test applications deployed through web browsers and containers such as Electron via test automation frameworks (Protractor & Cypress leveraging BrowserStack). This includes developing and maintaining parallel automated testing code, storing the code in application repositories, and ensuring that automated tests are run as part of the CI-CD process against multiple browsers & mobile devices ;

Perform troubleshooting software/hardware configuration problems and Production incidents;

Develop critical testing skills and work side by side with an experienced Quality Assurance Team, (“QA”) team to share advanced test automation engineering approaches with the broader QA team;

Participate in all aspects of a full-life cycle development methodology, and related quality concepts and processes;

Build and maintain relationships with broader organization to help efficiently achieve team goals; and

Provide clear communications to all team members, stakeholders, and enterprise partners while embracing change and adopting adopt new technologies in support of ever-changing business goals.

Qualifications:Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation that includes the required experience and skills. Experience must include:

5 years of experience utilizing Protractor or Selenium to build UI and API test automation frameworks and automation suites;

5 years of experience utilizing Java Typescript or JavaScript languages to build App automations;

5 years of experience utilizing Jenkins, Azure DevOps to build serverless data pipelines and CI/CD process;

5 years of experience utilizing MySQL or SQL Server to perform data aggregations; and

5 years of experience with Git, Jira, Rally and Agile/scrum methodology to develop highly available and reliable software.
