Camp Trudaca Jr. Asst. Director - $23.46 /hour - TDRPD
Brief Summary:Come be a part of the greatest summer camp program in California! If you are interested in the most amazing summer job you could ever have, and love working with youth in the outdoors, this is the job for you! Trudaca Junior works with 5 – 7 year olds at Regional Park in Truckee. We are looking for fun-loving people with enthusiasm, a great sense of humor, a love for the outdoors and kids, patience, and boundless energy. This job is not for everyoneit involves long days, not a lot of downtime and supervising kids with lots of energy.
Requirements: Must be 18 or older and have current driver license. Current CPR and First Aid Certifications along with some ECE units are desired. (Applicants can also obtain these through TDRPD.) Demonstrated experience in working with children is also desired.
Hours:Monday—Friday 9am—5pm (5 days at 8 hours/day) - position would end at the end of summer camp unless another position is identified.
Pay:$23.46 - $25.37 per hour, depending on experience, plus District perks (membership passes to the gym, pool, beach, and ice rink for employees and their families).
