DescriptionPeaceHealth is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position.The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $24.96 – $37.44. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.Hours: 0800-1630Job SummaryServes as a resource for supporting the day-to-day logistics and implementation of various programs across PeaceHealth. Supports and facilitates internal and external operations as needed by the department being supported. Coordinates logistical and administrative support to department caregivers by planning and creating materials. Schedules and arranges audiovisual needs while supporting activities: meetings, events, trainings, classes, and/or skills labs. Responsible for developing agendas and taking minutes during meetings, events, and trainings. Analyzes reports and incoming requests related to the department being supported. Provides communication through various methods with caregivers within the organization.Essential Functions

Coordinates logistics for the department, which includes scheduling, planning, obtaining supplies, managing inventory and setting-up for all events, meetings, and daily activities. Supports technology use during events, meetings, etc. Serves as a resource for network department logistics needs.

Assists with maintaining the document library pertaining to the department being supported to ensure they are current, accessible and updated to support efficient operations.

Identifies internal and external issues that impact the department and escalates through the appropriate chain of command.

Tracks action items for meetings and workshops to ensure they are completed and met. Assists with collection, analysis and documentation of evaluation data.

Participates in team meetings and prepares materials and follow-up on action items.

Identifies opportunities and supports process improvement.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation

Required: High School Diploma

Required: Associate degree or combination of education and experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job

Experience

Required: Minimum of 3 years of administrative program support experience

Preferred: Experience in a healthcare setting

CredentialsSkills

Demonstrated high level of skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). (Required)

Strong written and verbal communication skills. (Required)

Skilled in project management with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks. (Required)

Ability to work with all levels of management and caregivers. (Required)

Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and display flexibility in a fast paced and changing work environment. (Required)

Strong organizational and analytical skills. (Required)

Working ConditionsLifting

Consistently operates computer and other office equipment.

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Sedentary work.

Environmental Conditions

Predominantly operates in an office environment.

Some time spent on site in medical/hospital setting.

Mental/Visual

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
