Construction Project Estimator Assistant

Job Purpose: Quantity take-off estimator.

Campbell Beard Roofing, one of Denver’s longest established roofing companies, is now looking for a new team member to assist the Estimating Department. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the residential construction industry: aptitude for estimating. We will train the right candidate to use our estimating systems.

The Estimator has responsibility and accountability for:

Bidding

Compliance with plans and specifications

Follow up with customers.

A strong background is essential in:

Excel

Word

Microsoft Office Products

Ability to learn Excel based estimating software

Strong computer aptitude

Responsibilities Include:

Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, downloading prints, specifications, and all related documents.

Produces accurate quantity & cost estimates from construction documents using on-screen take-off software and excel spreadsheets

Reviews scopes of work in all associated documents, comprehends and interprets information to assemble accurate bid proposals

Generates Value Engineering ideas that help our clients reduce project costs without compromising quality or schedule
