Find your future with us.The Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) position is responsible for working with customers, suppliers, and associated stakeholders to achieve solution delivery expectation in support of escalated requirements as part of our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Emergent Requirements Team. The ideal candidate will have the willingness to learn and strive to demonstrate a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, and have a desire to provide world-class customer support.This role will be based out of Irving, TX .Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):Position Responsibilities:Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutionsCoordinate the activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g. AOG)Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolutionAct as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objectiveDelegates tasks to manage workload.Engage in cross-functional communications to deliver concise and timely resultsSupport suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation planAbility to manage multiple concurrent deadlinesAssist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacityAble to adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment.This position has the possibility and requires the ability to travel 10% as needed .This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting . The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Irving, TX . Subject to change based on business needs.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications ( Required Skills / Experience ):Basic knowledge in supply chain managementBasic experience in customer support or customer service roleMust have high attention to detail, be a self-starter, and results drivenThis position is for a 24/7, 365 day operation, and must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtimeMust be proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Must have experience applying verbal and written communications skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proof reading and editing skillsPreferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / ExperienceExperience in aerospace support, supply chain management, & logistics planningExperience with ERP and CRM system, such as SAPBasic proficiency in aerospace industry knowledgeCreative problem solving skillsBasic technical and engineering backgroundExperience implementing process improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices (e.g. Six Sigma)Typical Education & Experience :Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience etc.).Relocation :Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
