Lead and Journeyman Carpenter

Growing construction business seeks both a lead and journeyman carpenter. We are a small general contractor business that takes pride in offering a high level of craftsmanship and integrity to our clients. We mostly build custom homes from start to finish, but occasionally will take on a remodel. We often will handle a large scope of the various phases of a project in-house, including framing, siding, and finish carpentry, etc., but also occasionally grading, concrete, painting, roofing, etc. We strive for a positive work environment while we work hard and have fun doing it. Most of our current projects are on the northern side of Buncombe county, as we are based out of Weaverville.

Applicants should:

Have most of their own tools

Have reliable transportation and drivers license

Have experience, knowledge, ability and willingness to work in all aspects of carpentry (framing, siding, decks, doors/windows, cabinets, and finish carpentry)

Be substance/alcohol addiction free

Have a positive attitude and work well with others

Journeyman Carpenter position:

Have over 2 years experience

Lead Carpenter position:

Be competent leading a carpentry team (1-3 others)

Have over 5 years experience and have extensive understanding of how to build houses

Bonus points for driving a truck or work van
