Seeking experienced line cook

Goatlandia Kitchen is a catering kitchen and soon to be restaurant located in Sebastopol. We are seeking an experienced line cook with restaurant experience.

Duties include:

- preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients

- assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations before service

- cooking and plating main dishes, desserts, and appetizers during service

- working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time

- washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts

- ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

We are looking for someone with solid experience working the line in busy restaurant kitchens, and someone who is comfortable with a fast pace. This will be a part time position; growing into full time at the start of July. Shifts are primarily weekends and evenings, in addition to some daytimes.
