Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in Syracuse, New York. We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This role is central to our financial operations, responsible for managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collections. This opportunity offers short term contract employment.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency. Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit. Resolve customer inquiries related to credit promptly and professionally. Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and identify any irregularities. Implement appropriate actions for collection of delinquent payments. Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Manage billing processes, ensuring all invoices are issued according to schedule. Handle cash applications, ensuring all cash receipts are applied properly. Conduct cash collections, following up with customers for timely payments. Utilize various software tools including Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for efficient and effective account management.
