A top firm of ours is currently seeking a Closure Manager to sit out of their Conshohocken, PA office. This role is within the civil/environmental industries and will revolve heavily around face to face client interactions, business development, and project oversite. Description:Must haves-Bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental/chemical engineering, geology, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field10 + years in environmental consulting Certifications: Current Professional Geologist (PG), Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), or Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) licensure is required.Closure Consulting includes working in various State and Federal cleanup programs to investigate and remediate environmental impacts, which includes Federal cleanup programs (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, etc.) and state cleanup programs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, and other states as needed. The Manager is responsible for maintaining established clients and securing new clients to procure projects, identify problems and develop strategies to assist the client in their job or project. It is the responsibility of the Manager to meet the financial goals of the position to allow for the development and growth of consulting personnel; this includes direct management and development of teams comprised of field personnel, technical experts, and Project Managers to become “trusted advisors” for clients. Provide high-level strategy, technical direction, big-picture thinking, and problem-solving support for clients on all projects

Provide final review and ensure high quality work product is maintained on project submittals and correspondence

Maintain project momentum and verify proper completion of all projects:

Ensure projects are implemented logistically, smoothly, and safely Ensure that risks associated with projects are effectively managed, including but not limited to contracting, project execution, and financial performance Maintain project budgets and recognize when change orders are necessary Ensure project quality and timely invoicing

Advanced understanding of technical tasks, regulatory framework, and strategic activities necessary to complete a scope of work and guide projects to closure Activities include, but are not limited to:

Multimedia (soil, water, vapor, sediment, etc.) investigations and data assessment Remediation and mitigation evaluations and implementation Interpret regulations and guidance and act as a liaison between the client and regulatory agencies Lead technical meetings with regulatory agencies or adverse parties as client representative

Effectively communicate (internally and externally) and coordinate with Managing Principal on project status, personnel/expertise needs, project opportunities, and regulatory issues

Develop and grow the client base
