Industrial Sewer Apprentice Hiring Now

Sewer apprentices assist Industrial Sewers in producing custom sewn projects using heavy commercial fabrics and other materials to fulfill production deadlines. This is accomplished by performing general labor duties while also learning our processes and procedures for industrial sewing to be promoted to Sewer position eventually.

Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Basic math skills for computing project specifications. Capable of working with heavy fabric. Preferred some industrial sewing experience with the ability to become proficient within 1-3 years.

The work area is a warehouse environment without climate control. Employee must be able to work from standing and sitting positions for long periods of time. Employee must be able to lift, push, and carry loads up to 50 pounds. Employee must be able to use hands and arms in a repetitive motion for the duration of the shift, in addition to repeated bending, kneeling, twisting, and stretching. The noise level in the work area is moderately loud.

This is a full-time position, work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. We offer paid holidays, paid time off and benefits.
