Accounts Payable Specialist
Description Robert Half is currently seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist with advanced proficiency in SAP. This will be a contract to hire position, utilizing a hybrid work model including both remote and onsite work.Pay is up to $30/hr DOEResponsibilities:
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Analyze and reconcile all invoices and ensure payments are carried out accurately.
Collaborate with other departments to gather, verify, and process invoices.
Maintain an organized system of vendor contract files.
Resolve purchase order, invoice, and payment discrepancies.
Maintain accuracy in general ledger and prepare monthly account reconciliations.
Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Assist in the month-end closing process.
Ensure the company policy related to finance and accounts payable is adhered to.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred but not required for consideration.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in SAP is required
Strong MS Office(Excel, Word) skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as in a team.
