The Tailored Closet & PremierGarage of Midcoast Maine is seeking an installer to work as part of our team from our Rockland location, serving customers throughout the region. Job Summary

As an Installer for The Tailored Closet and PremierGarage of Midcoast Maine, you will be part of our team responsible for the timely and mistake-free installation of closet components and cabinetry in homes and businesses throughout the Midcoast and beyond. The ideal candidate has at least one year of installation or construction experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check. Candidates must be prepared to get to work with a positive attitude and must have the physical strength and stamina to perform the duties of this job. Basic carpentry skills needed. Training will be provided for following best practices for installing our specific systems.

Responsibilities

- Installs closets, garage cabinetry, garage flooring and other storage solutions in clients' homes

- Works closely with team members to ensure customer satisfaction

- Provides friendly, professional and knowledgeable service to ensure customer satisfaction

- Ensures job quality is exceptional in all installations

- Solves installation challenges with safety and quality in mind

- Communicates clearly and honestly with the customer, verbally and in writing, in order to create reasonable and accurate expectations

-Takes great care with protecting clients’ floors, walls and furnishings

- Conducts in-home installation repairs, as needed

- Takes photos of finished projects

- Receives, sorts, inspects and preps inventory in our warehouse

- Maintains warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion

- Keeps company vehicles orderly and clean

- Complies with and follows all safety regulations

Qualifications/Skills

- General carpentry skills (accurate measurement, care and cutting of materials)

- Attention to detail, with an uncompromising approach to quality

- Ability to translate plans into finished projects

- Knowledge or experience working with 32-millimeter system a plus

- Ability to install and use our project management software on a smartphone

- Valid Driver's License

- Clean driving record

- Experience driving and backing up cargo trailers

- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.; reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs and ladders, kneel, and crouch
