Echo Lake Country Club, located in Westfield, New Jersey, is an esteemed 18-hole member-owned club with a rich history dating back to 1899. A recent $12-million renovation has transformed the 30,000 square-foot Clubhouse into a vibrant hub, offering three bars, banquet facilities, multi-level dining, expansive patios, and breathtaking Manhattan Skyline views.

Position:

Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Sous Chef, the Prep Cook will work alongside our team of chefs to prepare ingredients for our menu.

Ability to work a full-time schedule of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., including weekends and holidays.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.

Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards.

Prepare items on prep sheets.

Store, label, and date items as needed.

Maintain clean and organized work area.

Effectively communicate with co-workers verbally and in writing in English.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Competitive pay based on experience.

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.

Previous experience in high volume scratch cooking.

Please note, prior experience is mandatory as this position requires standing for long periods of time and may

involve lifting 20-50 pounds and performing physical tasks for extended periods.

Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.

Proficiency in using kitchen tools and equipment
