Cook needed for busy Seaside brunch café
Seeking EITHER a line cook or a prep cook. We have a great, longtime kitchen team, and we just need one more person to make it really rock 'n roll!
For the prep position, be able to follow a recipe, and have a general knowledge of measurements (weight/volume/metric/standard). Decent knife skills and keeping a clean, organized work station are a must.
For the line position, be able to flip/poach perfect eggs, and keep your cool when you're 18 tickets deep.
We work as a team; not just in the kitchen, but as a whole, cooperating with FOH to create a superior experience for our patrons. You'll get to work with local seafood and produce from nearby farms, alongside a quirky, fun crew of dedicated individuals.
This is a DAY SHIFT, 7 am- 3 pm, 5 days a week.
Tips are given in cash daily, which can add an extra $3-5 per hour. Please be prepared to stage (paid working interview).
