Honl Tree Care is looking for a new climber!

Honl Tree Care is looking for a new climber to join our crew, for work in the larger Portland Metro Area!

The Climber/Arborist works with the Crew Leader, Ground Support person(s), and other Climber/Arborists in the field to provide excellent tree care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform all aspects of tree work, including climbing, pruning, and removal

- Ensure quality and safety on the job

- Work to specifications of work orders and permits

- Interact with clients in a communicative, friendly, and respectful manner

- Clean work sites and care for equipment

Required Skills & Abilities:

- Knowledge of horticulture and arboriculture practices

- Experienced and skilled in tree care and tree removal

- Exacting attention to detail with pruning and other tasks

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.; ability to work outdoors throughout the year

- Ability to safely maintain and operate necessary machinery

- Friendly and warm with clients, co-workers, and office staff

- Reliable and communicative

- Certified Arborist

- 2-3 years climbing experience

- Working knowledge of modern climbing techniques (SRT, MRS, etc.)
