Private Chef for a family in LIC - flexible hours

Job Title: Private Chef

Location: Long Island City - off E/M/R Queens Plaza station

Job Type: Part-time

Rate: $25/hour, 4-6 hours/week

Job Description:

We are looking for a private chef who can come to our apartment to help meal prep for the week. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby). We enjoy eating healthy and delicious food but just don't have the time to cook for ourselves these days. We are looking for someone to come to our house 1-2x a week for a total of 4-6 hours to prep 4 dinners + lunches/snacks. We will have all the groceries on hand and will have recipe inspiration to pull from but we are flexible eaters so feel free to get creative with meals.

The ideal candidate is someone who has cooking experience and is looking for a few extra hours of work per week. The hours will be flexible.

Responsibilities:

Cook 4 dinners + lunches/snacks

Execute on recipes provided and/or get creative with meals

Clean up after cooking

(Not in scope - grocery shopping, but can discuss adding this on in the future)

Requirements:

Previous experience cooking - as a line cook or chef

References provided
