PRESCHOOL TEACHER NEEDED-FALL 2024

We are looking for a creative, warm, and dedicated teacher to join our small and tight knit preschool community!

We are a small center space in the heart of Overlook, North Portland serving children 3-5 years of age! Our days are filled with art projects, outside adventures, singing and dancing, make believe, and so much more! We are looking for someone to join our small teaching team who is able to engage with, teach, and supervise children aged 3-5 years, lead projects and activities, collaborate with co-teachers, provide parent communication when needed, and utilize best child care practices.

This job is a good fit for you if:

-You enjoy and have experience working with children and families (preschool age preferred)

-You are creative and/or artistic and want to help with projects and curriculum planning

-You are warm, collaborative, motivated, and energetic!

-You have availability M-F (full time or part time)

-You have earned a high school diploma or higher degree

-You have a working knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices

We are looking for someone who has or is willing to complete (within 30 days of hire):

-Enrollment in the Central Background Registry

-Food Handlers

-Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/First Aid

-Required online Child Care trainings
