Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook at Woods Bay Wine, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while working in a dynamic and creative environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute a variety of small plates, appetizers, and desserts according to recipes and standards
Set up stations and ensure all ingredients are properly stocked and prepared for service
Cook and plate dishes with precision and attention to detail
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during service
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with inventory management
Contribute ideas for menu development and specials
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong culinary skills and a passion for food
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and safety standards
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus, but not mandatory
