Panel Shop Integrator

We are a rapidly growing, well-established equipment manufacturer seeking an Automation Programmer to join our UL508a industrial control panel shop. We are a Schneider Electric Automation partner and build small simple relay logic panels all the way up to large multi panel distributed control systems. This position is located in northern Washington in a great community to live and work.

Responsibilities

Program PLC control systems using a Codesys based IDE.

Create HMI projects using Vijeo Designer.

Integration of PLCs, HMI, VFDs, Remote IO, and other devices via various fieldbus methods such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, CANOpen, Modbus RTU, HART, and IO-Link, and various ethernet based protocols.

Testing manufactured control systems in house prior to shipping.

Proactive involvement in projects and OEM product development.

Desired Profile

Experience in Codesys or other PLC based IEC 61131-3 development environments.

Experience in industrial network protocols such as ModbusTCP, CANOpen.

Database experience, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MYSQL.

Willingness to write disciplined, organized, and well-documented code.

Has experience commissioning and troubleshooting control systems.

Willing and able to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Understanding of electrical concepts.

Training will be provided in required development fields and the understanding of panel componentry and integration. We offer great challenges and an opportunity for increasing responsibility and rewards with experience and success. Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications.

We are willing to start a currently enrolled student in a part time role until graduation. Ideal candidate will be either from an EE (EET) major or Computer Science major.
