Solar Installer, Electrical Work
California, Humboldt county , 95511 Humboldt county USA

Haven-Electric, Inc is seeking to hire a Solar Installer to join our team. We are a small but diverse team based in Blue Lake that handles both residential and commercial projects. Our company specializes in solar and battery systems, but we also undertake other projects such as HVAC jobs, service upgrades, residential wiring, generator installations, and occasional carpentry work. However, this year we have an exceptionally high workload of solar projects, and we are actively looking for someone with extensive solar experience.

At Haven-Electric, Inc, we take great pride in our work and use only top-quality materials. Our reputation in the community is built on our commitment to efficient, quality work, and a positive attitude. We are looking for a team member who shares these values and can contribute positively to our business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work directly with a licensed electrician and C10 contractor on a range of exciting solar projects.

The position requires a high degree of physical fitness, as you must be comfortable working on roofs and at heights, and be able to lift moderately heavy objects. Safety and health-consciousness are essential aspects of our work environment, and we emphasize these values in our team members. You should also be willing to work in challenging environments such as attics and under houses.

To be considered for the position, you should have solar experience or 1-2 years of electrical experience or relevant education/training. A current ET card or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of being hired is also required. Dedication to doing quality work, honesty, interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude are other qualities we are looking for in our candidates. Having basic electric tools (hand tools, impact driver, drill, bags, etc.) is also essential, and basic computer skills are a plus. We are looking for someone who can work independently and grow into the role of a team leader.

We offer competitive wages, enrollment in an Electrical Trainee program (WECA), paid training opportunities, flexibility, and health insurance after a service period. We are also committed to providing opportunities for growth and advancement within our company, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us. If you have solar and elect electrical experience and meet the above qualifications, we encourage you to apply to this exciting opportunity. Please email us your cover letter, resume, and references.
