Auto Technician 4/10 work week!
Well established and top-rated shop in West Seattle is seeking a technician for full time employment. We are a very busy but low drama shop. We do standard maintenance and large repairs on all makes and models, and even do performance upgrades and engine swaps to keep things interesting. We have been serving this community for over 90 years, with the current owner for the last 25+ years. This is a rare opportunity as we do not have a lot of turn over. We hire for both ability and attitude. We all work closely together and help each other out as needed. Professionally trained advisors staff the front counter at all times so there will be no need to answer calls, order parts, sell work or interact with customers. Shop is very well equipped with 5 hoists and a flat bay in the lower building and one hoist and 3 flat bays in the upper building. Only 2 techs scheduled per day so no need to ever work outside.
We offer:
- Top pay with a simple pay structure (nothing "sliding" or confusing "bonuses"). Up to $43.00 hourly or up to $55.00 flat rate.
- A 4/10 work week. 3 days off every week.

We are looking for:
- Valid drivers license with insurable driving record.
- Punctuality.
- Auto career focused.
- Attention to detail.
- Mitchell, AllData and Identifix experience a plus.
- Low to no temper. Drama free.
- A person who works well with others.
- Decent and complete set of R&R tools.
- Minimum of 4 years current experience (Votech school counts)
