Founded in 1976 in Fairbanks, Alaska, Chaz Limited Collision Express is an Alaskan owned and operated collision repair shop. As the largest independent collision repair organization in Alaska, we operate four high-tech collision repair centers in Anchorage, the Valley, and Fairbanks. We are currently seeking a Administrative and HR Assistant to join our Corporate team!

This is a dynamic role in a fast-moving company. This position is involved with many projects and internal services necessary to the daily administration of the organization. This position reports to the VP, works closely with our Director team, and interfaces with the management team as well as all levels of staff at each of our four locations.

Responsibilities include:

· Handle inquiries and direct to appropriate resources

· Process incoming emails and answer phones

· Organize meetings and appointments

· Collect, read, interpret, and analyze information

· Manage document distribution and data entry

· Coordinate building and equipment repairs

· Conducting initial screenings of applicants and assisting with the interview process

· Assist with background and reference checks

· Assist with onboarding processes for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training coordination

· Manage injury and OSHA documentation to ensure compliance; conduct monthly safety meetings

· Assist with benefit administration and enrollment

· Assist the VP with coordinating travel

· Occassionally assist with bank deposits

· Troubleshoot office equipment and IT issues; serve as the main point of contact for on the ground help for our IT support

· Contributing to HR projects and initiatives as needed

· Perform additional duties as assigned by VP and Directors

Minimum Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Valid Alaska Drivers’ license with an acceptable driving record

· Reliable Transportation

· Intermediate computer skills using applications including, Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry specific computer programs

· An ability to communicate in English, both written and orally, with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience levels

· Must be a good listener, dependable, and resourceful

· Professional experience in an administive support role is required

· Business, Administrative, HR degree, or course work preferred

· Prior automotive and/or insurance experience is helpful for this role.
