General Pavement Management is looking for experienced Concrete Foreman to join our Buellton team that is able to work various job sites throughout Santa Barbara all up to San Luis Obispo county.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The Foreman, under the direction of the Operation Director carries out assignments related to concrete placement, finishing, curing and cutting, based on the proper selection of equipment, materials and finishing sequence needed to deliver an acceptable product.

Experience with drawings and setting up times for the group is required.

Experience managing IPad/Computer is required.

Manage and supervise the planning, lay‐out, material storage, maintenance, and inspections of concrete finishing in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.

Plan and coordinate the efforts of the foramen and crewmen under his/her supervision and motivate them to accomplish the work safely, correctly and efficiently.

Be able to perform all of the principal duties and accountabilities of crew members under his/her supervision (general laborers/concrete form setters and concrete finishers).

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to deal with problems involving specific variables in standardized situations.

Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb, crawl and pull

Requirements

All applicants must have a valid CA driver's license (or ability to obtain one prior to employment) and a clean driving record.

Ability to work at job sites located at various geographic locations.

Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Knowledge of first aid and basic safety rules.

Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

Ability to lift heavy objects 50-60 lbs. on a regular basis, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.

Ability to deal with problems involving specific variables in standardized situations.

Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb, crawl and pull

Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.

Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.

Ability to meet attendance schedules with dependability and consistency.
