Habitate Property Management was started in 2014 to provide exceptional property management services in the Portland Area. We specialize in historic and green properties and also provide vacation management support to owners with legal short-term vacation properties.

Our current service area is downtown and the inner-east side of Portland.

In 2017 we launched our office space and retail space. “The Shop” provides our center of operations.

Habitate RESET CREW

The Habitate RESET CREW is an important part of the services for vacation rentals (Airbnb’s) and long-term rentals that we manage. We pride ourselves in providing ‘hotel’ level cleaning services, meaning that not only are the spaces we clean tidy with clean linens, but we are paying attention to additional cleaning and staging details. We also rely on our crew members to alert us to issues at the properties such as stains, damages, low supplies, and overall how the property is presenting itself.

Scope of Work

The RESET CREW is responsible for cleaning rental homes and Airbnb's managed by Habitate Property Management. Shifts are primarily between the hours of 10 AM-4 PM, are 2-4 hours in duration, (cleanings can be stacked to make a full day), and can happen seven days a week. Hours vary, often depending on the Reset Team Member's availability.

Responsibilities include: cleaning homes, doing laundry, watering plants, restocking paper products, staging spaces, and working directly with our aggressive recycling and composting program. This is a physical position and does require the ability to bend, lift, and remain standing and walking for the duration of the shift. It also requires the ability to lift 40 lbs., push carts and vacuums, and be able to carry laundry, recycling, compost, and trash. As this position moves from home to home our Reset Crew is exposed to sun, dust, and extremes in temperature and or humidity. This position also requires a reliable form of transportation with the ability to transport heavy bags of laundry to the laundromat. You will also need a smartphone device to remotely clock in and out of shifts.

RESET CREW MEMBERS communicate supply needs and issues/challenges via the Google Voice Number (monitored back at the shop by various individuals).

Requirements:

Reliable transportation with the ability to move large bags of laundry

A smartphone device to clock in and out remotely

The flexibility to work at least 3 days a week including weekends

Some cleaning experience is appreciated but not required

This position works best for people who are:

extremely detail oriented

A self-starter

Someone who enjoys putting on a pair of headphones and restoring order to spaces.

One of our cleaners is going out of town and we have an immediate need for additional help June 19-28th almost every day.
