Molding Technician

General Pattern Co. is seeking to fill roles in our Polyurethane Molding Department with candidates who enjoy a fast-paced manufacturing environment. On the job training is available.

Full-time, 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm.

Starting wage is $20.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Fill aluminum or silicone molds with materials used in the molding process.

Pull completed parts from machine molds.

Remove flash or excess material from parts using cutting tools/knife.

Must be able to utilize hand tools.

Must be able to work as a team.

Clean molds and/ or work areas as required.

Lift 50lbs. and stand throughout the day.

Maintain safe work area and wear personal protective equipment.

Ability to follow production schedules.

Identifies and corrects problems.

Monitor product visually and take corrective action when necessary.

Required Skills:

Ability to operate necessary manufacturing equipment.

Ability to work within a team or independently.

Ability to follow production schedules including written and verbal orders.

Ability to communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and management.

Ability to identify issues and take corrective action.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Must be able to regularly lift 50+ lbs.

Must be able to stand, walk, and bend throughout the day.

Must be able to use hand and finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

Have a stable work record.

Be Organized & Neat.

Agreeable to overtime as needed.

Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels.
