STRAIGHT TRUCK COURIER DRIVER NEEDED

Your responsibilities:

Delivers customer’s product in a safe and timely manner

Reviews and verifies paperwork for accuracy

Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the truck and product

Maintains logs and records as required by employer, DOT and FMCSA

Qualifications and Skills:

Excellent communication skills

Highly responsible and reliable

Neat and organized

Ability to drive in all weather conditions

Follows instructions

Experience and License Requirements:

CDL Class A preferred but not required (<26000)

1 year experience operating a CMV

Clear criminal background check

DOT drug/alcohol screening program

Valid Medical Card or the ability to obtain one in a timely manner

Valid driver’s license

3 yrs. clean MVR

Your Assignment:

Driver will make the same route from Hendersonville to Atlanta and back, one night a week driving a 2023 nonsmoking 26ft. straight truck. You will be scheduled 1 night a week but also flexible to work other nights as needed. (Monday-Friday)

You will leave the pick-up location at 3:30 p.m. head straight to Atlanta (no stops other than weigh stations and refuel) for hands free unload. The trip is usually 8-1/2 to 9 hours.

$200 a run plus a performance bonus of $200. This extra $200 is paid monthly based on your work performance and implementing safe driving practices and records keeping.
