Salpino is an Italian Food Market and Bakery selling fresh Italian pastries, breads, cakes and cookies. Serving fresh quality products to our customers is our top priority. Every item is made in house.

We are seeking 1-2 experienced bakers to join our team. This is a Full-Time position 8am-5pm with yearlong availability. Must be available holidays.

Job Description but not limited to

- Following recipes for baking

- Work with kitchen team to efficiently prepare and bake all products while ensuring consistency.

- Wrapping and packaging products for sale

- Know how to bake and decorate cakes, cupcakes, pastries and cookies

- Maintain our high levels of cleanliness and organization of work area

- Cleaning and prep tasks

- Work with commercial kitchen equipment and machinery

- Measuring and weighing ingredients

- Efficient and accurate cleaning of equipment and facilities

- Other duties assigned

Requirements

- Cleanliness

- Experience in baking

- Understanding of sanitary practices for food handling

- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

- Working in a FAST-PACED environment

- Comfortable working for 8+ hours, standing and lifting

- Open availability year round

- Ability to work in a faced pace environment

- Must be on time and dependable

- Commercial kitchen experience is REQUIRED

- Must be able to work well with others and take orders

- Must be eligible to work in the U.S

- Must be Fluent in English or Bilingual
