Machinist-plus needed

Competent, intelligent, skilled all-around machinist needed

This is not a button-pusher/part-changer position.

We're a small place that designs & makes specialized automated machinery.

Pretty cool stuff.

You need to be able to reliably take prints, go into the shop & make parts with no supervision and within a reasonable time.

Mostly Aluminum, some Delrin, very seldom Steel except for shafts.

We have Saws, a Lathe, a Bridgeport with a Trak (2 axis NC), etc.

2D Autocad/Draftsight and rudimentary mechanical design skills & experience would really be a plus.

This would be a good job for a clever, energetic skilled retiree (we're open to part time) or someone who went to Trade School but wants to learn & do a lot more than what they teach these days.
