To find out more visit www.lenovo.com , and read about the latest news via ourStoryHub (https://news.lenovo.com/) .Description and RequirementsAs a part of the Go-To-Market Team, the prototype coordinator manages both in-bound and out-bound prototypes across multiple projects and stakeholders. The prototype coordinator is a key position at the company ensuring that North America prototype deliverables and requirements are met on time and escalating to stakeholders if project needs are not being met. Since they manage thousands of prototypes, the ideal candidate is organized, communicates efficiently, has a positive attitude, and can multi-task as project needs change.On an average the coordinator will manage:

5k protos & 2k shipments per 6 months

All carrier requirements must be met

Additional Activities:

Build plan entry/checks

Proto PO entry, checks & confirmation

Communication w/GPM on proto issues

Internal website updates

Possible Launch Manager activities for regional carriers

Sample of Activities required for each proto (5k per 6 months):

Charge, Screen for damage & Remove factory stickers (5 per unit)

Confirm TAC, co-branding, color, correct cling, etc.

Confirm correct configuration/ cables of special units, like RF, RF/BE, etc.

Add carrier-required labels, indicating secure, non-secure, FUT, etc.

Scan barcodes into file feeds and/or shipment trackers

Coordinate flashing activities

Final wipe down of units

Place units into individual boxes & add proper accessories

Add carrier-required labels to individual boxes, indicating XT#, barcodes, etc.

Enter shipping info & print FedEx AWBs

Place units, accessories and/or individual boxes into FedEx boxes

Enter all info (barcodes, AWBs, special notes, etc) into docs provided by/to carriers

Sample of Activities required to support shipments:

Order packaging materials

Build shipping/FedEx boxes (2k per 6 months)

Build individual boxes (2.5k per 6 months)

Organize prototypes as they arrive (5k per 6 months)

Organize accessories as they arrive (accys required for some shipments)

Print labels

Organize and track proto and accessory inventory

Basic Qualifications:

Comfortable managing multiple programs at the same time.

Familiarity with marketing and product management in the high-tech industry

Demonstrated ability to organize and lead cross functional teams and the ability to keep them focused on critical deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

Highly driven self-starter, motivated, with excellent communication and organizational skills

High passion for product excellence and attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships - solid interpersonal skills

BA and/or 2+years of Project Management experience would be ideal

Device testing experience and/or Computer Science knowledge a plus
