AVAILABLE POSITION

SHEET METAL FABRICATOR

Location: Astoria, Queens

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: $16 - $60 per hour (Depending on experience level)

Responsibilities:

Perform TIG and automobile welding operations to fabricate sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Utilize precision bending techniques to form sheet metal into desired shapes and dimensions.

Conduct accurate measurements and ensure precise tolerances during fabrication processes.

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop innovative solutions for sheet metal components.

Perform basic electrical wiring.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments to meet customer requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Qualifications:

Experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator, with expertise in TIG and automobile welding techniques.

Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and precision bending methods.

Familiarity with basic electrical wiring systems and components.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Prior experience working with diverse metals and alloys preferred.
