Mechanic's Helper

Heavy Construction Company is looking for a Mechanic's Helper to assist with the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities: Assist mechanics with Services and repairs all vehicles and equipment. Maintains and ensures the operation of all vehicles and equipment. Diagnose electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on heavy trucks and heavy equipment.

Maintenance and repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tune-ups and equipment repairs

Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of equipment and tools

Logs: Update maintenance and repair logs

Other duties: Move vehicles and their parts, clean the work area, and return tools to their proper location
