Polo Horse Groom: 1 temporary, full-time position (10/01/24-06/30/25) in Marthasville, MO. Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm (40 hours) at $15.03/hr. and Sat 8am-4:30pm (8 hours of overtime required) at $22.55/hr. Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage rate or bonus to any worker, in its sole discretion, based on performance, skill, tenure or experience. Employer offers optional free basic lodging. 3-month minimum experience required but no education required. No on-the-job training provided. Employer use a single workweek for computing wages due and workers are paid every two weeks. Employer will make all deductions from a workers paycheck required by law. Employer will reimburse H-2B workers in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker.If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for the workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during the travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all the tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.Job Duties - Responsible for attending to the overall care of horses. Duties include grooming, feeding, watering, bathing, cleaning out stalls, replenishing bedding, maintaining tack room, wrapping legs, pulling and braiding mane, storing supplies and feed, body clipping and supervised turnout. Groom will maintain and clean stalls and work area daily. Groom will observe and report horses physical condition daily. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds up to 100 feet.
