Position Overview HAECO is seeking a Senior Quality Enginee r to join our, Quality Assurance team in Lake City FL. In this role, you will implement HAECO’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure compliancewith regulatory and customers’ requirements. Evaluate operational strategies to identify inadequacies, recommend changes for improvement, and provide guidance for internal stakeholders regarding the implementation of corrective & preventive actions. This role also leads the analysis and implementation of corrective / preventive actions for Environmental Health & Safety activities.Essential Duties

Help in executing a data driven strategic plan to improve business processes by increasing throughput and decreasing risk. This includes determining quality metrics for all processes/procedures.

Manage priorities to support current and future quality control and production needs through continuous monitoring and testing of processes/procedures.

Oversee special projects and other duties as assigned.

Initiate and support development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives using data analytics to reduce process variation and prevent defects and/or non-compliance.

Take a proactive approach by working with Managers and Supervisors to implement quality measures on new customer procedures/requirements.

Determine and implement corrective actions.

Lead and support RCCA investigations, internal audits, and external audits.

Lead and support various continuous improvement initiatives.

Document all issues to include the root cause and corrective action taken.

Support integrated product/process teams.

Remain compliant with regulatory and corporate laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

What you need: (Requirements) Minimum

Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (ie. Mechanical or Industrial Engineering).

7-10 years of relevant experience in a production/service environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root cause of issues and recommend solutions.

Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Excellent project management skills

Preferred

Engineering Degree

Familiarity with statistical analysis

ASQ Certifications: Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, and/or Quality Auditor
