Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Houston, Texas, United States. The role revolves around providing support during new hire orientation sessions, where you will be responsible for a range of tasks including document verification, scanning, and providing excellent customer service. The role will also require flexibility to work outside of standard hours for occasional job fairs or Saturday shifts.Responsibilities: Assist in the execution of new hire orientation sessions Provide a warm and professional greeting to all new hires Ensure all necessary documents for I9 verification are accurately verified and processed Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the onboarding process Utilize your technical skills to ensure efficient and accurate data entry Handle scanning duties to digitize important documents Manage email correspondence effectively and professionally Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks Organize files to ensure easy accessibility and efficiency Perform calculations as required for the role Demonstrate proficiency in typing, ensuring speed and accuracy. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is essential Must possess strong 10 Key Skills Customer service experience is desirable Data entry skills are required Excellent email correspondence ability is necessary Must have experience in organizing files Ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently Experience in scanning documents is required Typing skills must be strong and accurate for data entry tasks Must have the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks is required Must have excellent time management skills to meet deadlines Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary Must have problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions when required Must have a basic understanding of office equipment such as printers, photocopies, and fax machines.
